After going out in to her community to create content for her favorite places, she realized that there are many business owners that know that social media is important but struggle with knowing really what and how to utilize it effectively.

She is hoping to elevate more personal brands, content creators, and small business owners by sharing what she has learned along the way.

Shawna has been putting her face on the internet promoting this, that, and the other since she fronted a funk band over a decade ago. In the 12+ years of entrepreneurship, Shawna has always been all over figuring out how to get people to her classes, shows, as well as online courses and programs.

She is friends with tech and gets her hands dirty whether it’s her website, email distributor, or content creation.

She intimately knows the place of loneliness and wanting to give up on the vision in your heart. She hopes that this can be a place to encourage others who are going for it to keep going and to equip them with the knowledge and guidance to have fun and success with it.

While we do teach about trends and tactical things of getting your content seen, it is all rooted helping you make great content that connects with the human that will be watching it. Going viral doesn’t guarantee success. We are committed to helping you build a world that reflects what and who you are here to serve. We are here for those of you who are truly committed to your craft, skills, and gifts and getting it out into the world in a real way.

  • We are not for those of you wanting to outsource yourself to AI. We love AI as tools but we feel it is important to have an intentional relationship with these tools. For example, we believe writing captions with ChatGPT is obvious and cheap (and tbh gives us the ick when we see it in the wild). We stand for staying human in communicating what it is that we do in the world. Orienting in a way to have AI support you and your creativity is the key.

  • We are not for those of you hoping to manipulate the algorithm. This will not be a group that does any follow-for-follow or mass reposting of each others’ content. Of course, if you feel moved to comment, share, and like each other’s stuff that is great but when it is done in a fake way, people can feel that and we don’t roll like that.

  • This is not for those of you seeking to be rescued. We’re here to HAVE FUN, EXPRESS, and BE PLAYERS in the game of being visible. We are here to do it together, share what we know, and be with you while you go for it in a bigger way. But we aren’t going to save you from the work. We aren’t going to do the work for you. We believe in you and will speak into the power you hold.

  • This is not for complainers. We 100% welcome your feedback as we are creating this thing in real time. Our commitment is to serve you to the best of our ability and knowledge. Your commitment is to participate, try things, and also communicate with us if you are not getting what you need.

We relate to social media as an incredible opportunity to reach people we wouldn’t otherwise reach. We get that it takes work, but we also believe that it can be an amazing way to explore and expand our own relationship to being seen, owning our voice, and stepping into our power.
